A book of poetry written by Robert Scott for his wife and family.
This is an amazing collection of poetry and short stories both fictional
and biographical. Robert Scott, (10/20/1898 – 6/1/1975) was very
specific about his wish to have this collection treated respectfully. It
is evident that there was never a man who loved his wife more than
Robert did and never a man who loved, risked and gave so much to protect
and advocate for his fellow miners. He endured beatings and death
threats after helping to form a mine workers union in an effort to
improve the lives and working conditions for the miners in Lanark,
Scotland in the early 1920s.
